In this recipe, the octopus is being boiled in a thick, hearty sauce that is pleasing with a flavorful, mouth-filling red wine.

  1. ​Heat oil in a casserole then add the next ingredients until the bay leaf. Cook over medium high heat for 8 minutes. Keep on stirring until tender. Add the tomatoes and let it simmer for two minutes before removing from heat.
